The 9Webcams dashboard widget is capable of displaying 9 images of your choice at the same time. Regardless if they are gattered from the web or from your local machine.
If you click on a thumbnail image, a larger version of the webcam image will appear. Another click into the large image will bring you back to the display of the thumbnails.
To add a new webcam image to the widget, just copy the image link into the textfields on the widgets back. You can also set a refresh time and smooth transitions between thumbnail and large image view.
This widget is made for macs, running on i386 and ppc chips.
