Why 4Webcams
You can buy 4Webcams at the iTunes Store.
4Webcams iPhone app is a mixture between a webcam viewer and a slideshow application. It uses basic functions from both concepts and puts them together to form a simple web image viewer application. Users can enter their own webcam image links manually by using the “Cut & Paste” feature.
How it works
During startup 4Webcams loads all images that have been set in the application preferences. If all images can be loaded successfully, they will be displayed in list form as shown below. In case no webcam image link is set in the preferences 4Webcams will display an info message “Add a Webcam First” and set the counter label to “Nothing to count down to”. The “Start Slideshow” button is also disabled.
In case an image cannot be loaded the application displays a funny oops image for information. Errors can occur, if no internet connection is present or the server providing the image does not answer.
In the preferences section the user can either enter a webcam image link manually with the keyboard or paste a link into the text fields directly. Also you can enter a name for each image. Of course all images are refreshed after a specified period of time. Refresh time can be set for 1, 5, 10, 30 or 60 minutes. The time that is left until the next refresh is displayed below the image list. To remove an image link, push the delete buttons behind every section.
Below the list of images the button “Start Slideshow” is displayed. Being pushed, the application launches the slideshow displaying a single image. The user can then cycle through all images with a finger swipe. This works from left to right and back. To view and swipe through the images in landscape mode, turn your iPhone/ iPod touch left or right.
